Biografia, Dara Siligato

Si forma per 10 anni in danza classica con il maestro Milan Cristovica,

Studia teatro Classico, Teatro di ricerca, affrontando Metodo Living e Grotowski .

Il teatro e la danza si evolvono in percorsi di ricerca personali e sotto la guida di maestri come Erica Giovannini, incontra il teatro /danza, il surrealismo, la danza contemporanea. Studia con:  Lucia Latour, Gabriella Maiorino, Daniela Agosta, Sara San Filippo, Juan Diego Puerta Lopez, Alessandra Luberti , (danza Contemporanea teatro/danza) e ancora con: Ultima Vez, Barbara Lucarini, al T.I.P di Friburg (contact-impro, work/flor).

Rivolge la sua Ricerca verso il “disagio”, interessandosi anche alle tecniche di medicina orientale, incontra la danza Butoh, spaziando tra coscienza corporea, Perform_Art, teatralità e movimento autentico 

Studia con: Masaki Iwana, Sumako Koseki, Sayoko Onishi (con la quale si  forma presso l’accademia di New Butoh School di Palermo).

Collabora Con Petra Veermesch   nella compagnia Heart Radical (Belgio/Francia)

Danzautrice/peformer  e fondatrice del gruppo ED Company.

Performer /antropology dancer, per il collettivo di danza urbana Dance Attack.

She studied ballet since she was a child with Milan Cristovica (first dancer of the Academy of Tirana). In Milan, she attended the training school for actors, "Campo Teatrale", where she studied acting, improvisation, direction and dance-theatre, with Gianluca Stetur, Erica Giovannini, Pier Paolo Maria Nizzola, Ombretta Naj.

She studied classical theater and speech at Teatro Vittorio Emanuele, in Messina, under Donato Castellaneta and M. Marchetti.

She studied contemporary dance with Daniela Agosta, Juan Diego Puerta Lopez, Lucia Latour, Gabriella Maiorino, Alessandra Luberti, Sara San Filippo.

She met the Contact improvisation in t.i.p. of Freiburg. With Barbara Lucarini (Rome/Palermo), often participated in workshops in all Europe, with Sumako Koseki, Ultima Vez, Pè Vermeersh.

Studied circus arts, air drapery, juggling, mime, clowning, with many international artists, in particular with the Anantacircosmico group (Spain, San Salvador, Ireland).

In traveling she developed a personal journey, researching on the relationship between cultural tradition and contemporary languages, in Spain, France, Hungary, Canada, Germany, Mexico.

Currently she follows Butoh dance workshops with Sayoko Onishi, with whom she collaborate for the performances creation for the New Butoh School.

Performed for "Otherrs", mediterranean looks on Contemporary Art; in “Raise the Roof”, by Nevin Aladag (Turkey).

Performer in “Site2 #”, performance installation by Sasha Vinci, Pass/o assosiation, in Scicli.

Performer and authoress for Collettivo Cactus, with whom she collaborated in:

“Dreams”: (dance-theatre for diversability)

“Splash”: Aquatic performance, presented in the "Teatri Riflessi" festiva 2010 Ct , Festival Plas 2010, in Castellammare del Golfo

Authoress and performer in "Brandelli": itinerant performance /installation, winner of the first prize in the impromptu visual arts "Spazi Percettivi", in Brolo, Messina. Also performed into M.A.C.C. Caltagirone during the festival “Prove d'autore”.

Creator of the project “Babilonia” ( meeting between tradition and contemporary world), proposed in cultural centers and research groups.

Dancer and authoress in "Storie all'ombra dei grattacieli", by Andrea Amico, presented at the festival Plas 2009.

Performer in "Giochi da legare" by Sabrina Sinatti, Librerie del Design, in Milan.

Creator and interpreter of several performances, as: (Cassandra, Mater, Noche Bruca, Immacolata Concessione,Pie-tra le Pietre) and installations, (Nature Morte, Brandelli#1).

In 2004 she tooked part in the Alternative Medicine Festival in Tunis with Matilde Politi and Lelio Gianetto, offering improvised paths about the meeting between Sicilian and Arabian cultures and the different choral languages.

In the same year, she proposed again this quest in the Segesta Theatre with the formation "Onda Mediterranea".

Organizing workshops for kids and adults on the topics of her research, collaborating with local socio-cultural and educational institutions.

Estudia danza clásica durante10 años con Milan Cristovica,

Estudia teatro Clásico y teatro de investigación, por el Método Living e Grotowski .

Desarrolla sus estudios de teatro y danza en un camino de investigación personal bajo la guía de maestros como Erica Giovannini, en ese camino descubre disciplinas como teatro/danza, el surrealismo y la danza contemporánea. Intensifica sus estudios de danza contemporánea y teatro/danza con:  Lucia Latour, Gabriella Maiorino, Daniela Agosta, Sara San Filippo, Juan Diego Puerta López, Alessandra Luberti. Contact-improvisation, work/flor con: Ultima Vez, Barbara Lucarini, al T.I.P di Friburg.

Dirige su investigación hacía el estado de “inadaptación”, mostrando interés hacía técnicas de medicina natural oriental. Descubre la danza Butoh, que le permite intensificar su experiencia de conciencia del cuerpo, Performing-Art  y movimiento autentico, estudiando con: Masaki Iwana, Sumako Koseki, Sayoko Onishi (New Butoh School).
